With the continuous innovation of concepts and techniques in minimally invasive surgery, hepato-pancreato-biliary surgery has entered a new stage of precise, individualized and systematic development. As an integration of multiple minimally invasive techniques, the small diameter endoscope-related technique, endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography-related technique, laparoscopic-related technique, endoscopic ultrasound-related technique, choledochoscopy-related technique, traditional Chinese medicine, ultrasound-guided puncture-related technique, and hepatic artery/vein interventional embolization-related techniques (SELECT-UP+HAVE) represent the cutting edge of current diagnosis and treatment for hepato-pancreato-biliary diseases and fully embodies the "patient-centered" concept of modern medical discipline construction. This article systematically reviews the core composition and connotative characteristics of the SELECT-UP+HAVE series technology. Combined with clinical practice, it analyzes their supporting mechanism in the discipline construction of hepato-pancreato-biliary surgery, discusses the main challenges and optimization paths in the clinical promotion and application of this system, and provides a reference for promoting high-level and high-quality discipline construction of hepato-pancreato-biliary surgery.
